ADM Setup

Vending Coffee with ADM

On setup, the PicoCoffee automatically creates an item named "coffee" in ADM, with the scan code set to "PicoCoffee". The price of this item listed in ADM is 0.00, though the actual price that the customer pays is set on the OEM coffee machine itself.

The ADM scan code and price cannot be modified by the Operator. However, other elements of the product summary can be edited.

  1. Log into ADM

  2. Ensure that you have the correct org/location selected

  3. Select Product from the main menu, then select Global Products from the resulting drop-down menu.

  4. Select the item listed as "coffee". This will bring you to the Product Summary of the coffee, where you can edit the name of the vending item. For example, instead of listing it as "coffee," you may decide to list the item as "hot brew" or something similar.

  5. When you have completed your changes, select the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Vending Coffee with the PicoCoffee+

In ADM, the PicoCoffee+ uses the same coffee vending parameters as PicoCoffee. However, for all other market items and products, this device functions like a standard micromarket device. Operators will list items in ADM, set scan codes, prices and other details in the same way as other 365 micro market devices. This means customers can check out from the PicoCoffee+ with additional items as desired.

To learn more about the process of using ADM, please see the articles found in the ADM section of the 365 Help Center.
