Purpose
This article explains what the Vision Hub site is for, and walks through how to navigate the Vision Hub Dashboard.
Pre-Live Notice
What Vision Hub is For
- Gives Operators one place to manage daily Computer Vision work across their allowed organizations and locations.
- Helps Operators focus on the most important actions first: hardware issues, transaction issues, empty planograms, and missing product images.
- Modernizes high-use Operator workflows with a cleaner dashboard, responsive web layout, guided review screens, and reusable components.
- Supports web launch alongside the 365 Ops app updates, with some actions remaining app-only.
Process
Log In and Select Org/Location(s)
- Log into the Vision Hub site with ADM credentials. (The credentials must be tied to an account with the Operator role in order to access this site.)
- Select the relevant Organization and Locations for the devices using the dropdowns in the upper left.
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the landing page after logging in. It is the Operator's starting point, summarizing what needs attention for the selected Org/Location, and links users into the relevant workflow.
The Dashboard is made up of:
- sections with alerts and information: Hardware Issues, Transaction Issues to Review, and Operational Issues.
- navigation on the lefthand side of the page: Dashboard, Transaction Issues, Devices, and Image Management.
Hardware Issues
The Hardware Issues section shows HSA lockout issues, Connectivity Issues, and the number of Active Devices within the Org and selected location(s).
-
HSA lockout issues: The number of HSA lockout issue alerts will display.
If there are any alerts, select View all to go to the Devices page, which shows a summary of all the devices that are in HSA (Heat Safety Alert) Lockout. Please see the Vision Hub - Image Management Guide for more information.
-
Connectivity issues: The number of alerts for connectivity issues will display. If there are any alerts, select View all to go to the Devices page, which shows a summary of all the devices that are experiencing connectivity issues. Please see the Vision Hub - Image Management Guide for more information.
-
Active Devices: Active Devices shows what percentage of devices are operational (active).
Transaction Issues to Review
The Transaction Issues to Review section shows the number of flagged transaction issues that need attention within the Org and selected location(s), and sorts them out by reason - Planograms needing updates, Review and build carts, and Unauthorized Unlock.
Transaction Issues to Review can also be reached by selecting Transaction Issues on the left-hand side of the screen.
Select a specific category of a transaction issue to review, or select the Get started button to review them all in order. The full flow of these alerts can be found in the Vision Hub - Flagged Transactions Operator Guide.
-
Planograms Needing Updates: This shows transactions that are flagged, because a planogram needs to be updated (i.e., no planogram, products missing from planogram).
-
Review and Build Carts: This shows transactions that are flagged due to a Cart issue (i.e., item cannot be determined, item not in planogram or product catalog, possible theft/fraud).
-
Unauthorized Unlock: This shows transactions that are flagged due to a Restocker video incident, where a Restocker appears to have used a payment method, such as a credit card, rather than the approved restock/unlock process.
Operational Issues
The Operational Issues section shows the following issues: Empty planogram and Missing images.
-
Empty planogram: This'll show brand new devices that haven't had a planogram yet, or planograms that were saved empty when there were previously products. The number of Vision Smart Stores without a planogram will display here. If there are any, select Solve Now to reach the Devices page, showing a summary of all the devices with an empty planogram to resolve. Please see the Vision Hub - Device Management Guide for more information.
-
Missing images: This'll show the number of products without images. If there are any missing images alerts, select Solve Now to reach the Image Management page with a pre-filtered list of the products with missing images to resolve. Please see the Vision Hub - Image Management Guide for more information.
Devices
Select Devices on the left-hand side of the screen to reach the Devices page. The Devices page shows devices within the selected Org/Location scope. For more information, please see the Vision Hub - Device Management Guide.
Image Management
Select Image Management on the left-hand side of the screen to reach the Image Management Page. Please see the Vision Hub - Image Management Guide for more information.
