Purpose
The purpose of this article is to explain the limitations of Back Office email assignments for multiple Customer use.
Process
Spoonfed does not allow a Contact email to be added to more than one Contact. This means that if there is a Contact who fits into more than one Organization, a different email address will need to be added for them.
If the Contact only has one email address they can use, a "work-around" is to adjust their original email address slightly so that the system registers it as a different email address, but the Order Confirmations are still sent to the Contact's original email.
Example and Steps
If the Contact's email address is: spoonfed.test@gmail.com
Add a '+_____' after the username and before the domain name.
The second Contact email address would then be: spoonfed.test+secondprofile@gmail.com
Adding this '+[second username]' to the email username allows the email to register as a different email address, while still sending all mail to the original email address.
This is how you can the same email to more than one contact for customers that need to receive Order Notifications from more than one Contact.
