Setup Requirements
An MM6/MM6 Mini setup will require:
- One 220/240v 3-Pin UK or 2-Pin Schuko dedicated outlet
- One RJ45 wired Ethernet jack
Tools Required
- 9mm drill bit and drill
- 5mm Hex drive wrench

Installation Process
The MM6 & MM6 Mini are plug-and-play devices. They are staged and assembled prior to shipment.
Before setup, carefully unpack the kiosk. Be sure to keep track of any mounting hardware or accessories included in the packaging.

The first step of the setup process is to install the device, using either the countertop mounting method or the wall-mounted installation method.
Counter-top Installation Method (MM6 or MM6 Mini)
- Place the Counter-top Drill Template (included in the packaging and in the attachments of this article) on the countertop in the desired location and secure it with tape. Use a 9mm bit to drill holes in the marked locations on the guide.
- Place the unit in the desired location on the counter, lining up the drill holes with the holes in the device.
- Insert the supplied carriage bolts through the square holes and secure them from the underside of the countertop with the washers and nuts.
- If using the supplied wood screws, place the unit in the desired location and drive the screws through the base holes using a drill driver.
- If using the supplied wood screws, place the unit in the desired location and drive the screws through the base holes using a drill driver.
- Continue on with the Hardware setup of MM6/MM6 Mini process below.
Wall-Mount Installation Method (MM6 Mini only)
- Remove the countertop stand by placing the device on its side, then remove the six nuts that secure the base to the device.
- Place the Wall Mount Drill Template on the wall in your desired location, and secure it in place with tape. This installation guide is included in the paperwork that comes with the MM6 Mini, and is also available for download in the attachments to this article.
- Drill the appropriate holes, then remove the drill guide.
- Secure the mount to the wall using wall anchors suitable for your wall type (not included).
- Continue on with the Hardware setup of MM6/MM6 Mini process below.
Hardware setup of MM6/MM6 Mini
- Now that you have mounted your device to a countertop or wall, power on the unit by connecting it to the appropriate power outlet. The socket outlet should be 1 meter from the installation site. It should not be connected via extension bars installed near the equipment, and it must be easily accessible or equivalent.
- Plug in the provided ethernet cable to an access point to provide internet connection to the device. See the article International Network Requirements - V5 Kiosks with a Meraki Z3 for more information.
- The unit will then boot up and automatically start the Point of Sale (POS) software
- For the first boot, the unit will take 5–10 minutes and go through multiple boot screens to config correctly
- Once the device has booted, check connectivity to the device through one or more of the following methods:
- Validating the network status in ADM
- Checking the internet connection is “ONLINE” through kiosk setup screen
- Ensuring the Meraki Router LED color is WHITE
- Locate and write down the serial number of the kiosk, located on the side of the kiosk. Use this number when you contact 365Support to complete the remote configuration process.
