Best Practices

  • Be sure to add images to products for the planogram. Product images are essential for AI recognition.
    • Images can be added through the 365Ops app directly from a planogram.

  • Avoid overstuffing products when filling the cabinet, as this can interfere with camera recognition.

  • Keep the number of products to 8 in a row maximum. More will often fit, but maxing out at 8 is essential for good camera recognition.

  • Update the planogram regularly as new products are added or changed out.

Planogram Alerts

The 365Ops app provides alerts for planograms that need attention throughout the Dashboard.

Planogram alerts are as follows:

  • Empty planogram: This alert is for brand new devices that haven't had a planogram yet, or planograms that were saved empty when there were previously products. The number of Vision Smart Stores without a planogram will display here.
    • Tap Solve Now to reach the Devices page with a pre-filtered list of all the devices without a planogram. From the Devices page, tap View planogram on the applicable device(s) to build out and save the planogram(s). (Please see the 365Ops App - Device Management [Future Release] article for more information.)

  • No planogram: This alert is for held transactions that cannot be reviewed against a device planogram, because one did not exist at the time of transaction. The alert bubble shows the number of flagged transactions in this category, and a number below shows how many planogram(s) need to be updated.
  • Products missing from planogram: This alert is for transactions where there are items seen in the cabinet that are not in the planogram. The alert bubble shows the number of flagged transactions due to products missing from planogram, and a number below shows how many planogram(s)  may need to be updated to include the suggested missing products.
