Purpose

The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions for Catch All Zones - how to configure a new Catch All Zone, or turn an existing zone into a Catch All Zone. 
 

Overview

There are times when items may not be mapped or do not filter into an already established zone. 
The warehouse pickers are still responsible for fulfilling those items. 

Catch All Zones are an effective way of allowing these products to be fulfilled with minimal setup. 
Generally, a new Catch All Zone is going to be better than editing an existing zone, so when possible, creating a new Catch All Zone is recommended.
 

Process

To configure a Catch All Zone:

1. Navigate to LightSpeed Settings > Pick Zone Edit.
   
   1.  To create a new Catch All Zone: Click Add New on the right side of the Screen. 
      
   2. To convert an existing zone to a Catch All Zone: Click Edit on a respective zone.
      
2. Configure the new zone according to the proper settings for configurations, such as case grouping and printer selection. 
   If needed, please refer to the Pick Zone Edit Section of the Lightspeed Settings Guide for assistance on the proper settings.
   
   Important: Make sure to check the box under the Is Catch All Zone column. This is what enables the Catch All Zone, which sends all unfiltered or unmapped items to the newly-created Catch All Zone on the next set of orders.
