Purpose
This article serves as a Quick Start Guide for follow-up installs of the PicoCooler Vision with Imbera.
For first-time setup, please follow the Operator Setup Guide for detailed instructions.
Process
- Connect the cables coming out from the Pico Bracket into the 6-pin connector.
The thinner white cable goes into the black COM port, and the thicker ethernet cable goes into the silver port to provide internet connection to the Pico. - Secure the (3) 10-32 × 7/8″ screws on the left side of the mounting bracket.
- Connect the power cords for both the Cooler and the Technology Box to an outlet.
- The Pico device will turn on and display a Health Safety Alert (HSA), which appears as a red box stating, "Unable to unlock cabinet, Lock reset required, please contact operator."
- In order to clear the HSA lock, currently, you are required to use the CIR WiFi app to clear HSA:
- Download the CIR WiFi app by SOFTEL (for Android, iOS). This is used to remotely unlock and lock the cooler using your mobile phone.
- Connect the cooler to a power source.
- Note the MAC address printed on the SOFTEL CIR WIRELESS tag on the inner cabinet wall.
(The MAC address is identifiable by 6 pairs of characters). - Open the CIR WiFi app. A screen labeled BLE Devices will scan for and display MAC addresses of nearby Bluetooth devices.
Look for and tap the entry that matches the MAC Address on the sticker. - Tap the Unlock button to unlock the cooler door. The cooler door will unlock. Open the door, and then close it.
The door will lock, and the HSA message will disappear.
- Download the CIR WiFi app by SOFTEL (for Android, iOS). This is used to remotely unlock and lock the cooler using your mobile phone.
- Run a test transaction.
- After confirming the doors and locks are functioning properly, begin stocking your store using the 365Ops app to initiate restocking mode.
