Purpose

This article contains an overview of the Offline Mode for the 365 Kitchen Management (Kafoodle) Stock & Ordering Module.
 

Process

The Stock Take screen will now have an Offline Mode option for Operators to utilize. Offline Mode can be utilized when entering an area without an internet or cellular connection, such as a freezer or concrete storage area.

All users can use Offline Mode, as it is not limited to a specific user group or locale.

Users can perform all the standard operations while in Offline Mode, such as: product filtering, searching, paginating, adjusting quantities, etc.

Once reconnected to the internet, the site will automatically trigger an auto-save to save the stock into the backend system.

Desktop

1. Log into the 365 Kitchen Management site.
    
2. Click into the Stock & Ordering module.
    
3. Sync Products and then head to the offline location.
    
   
4. Perform a Stock Take using the normal functionalities. A banner displaying Offline Mode will appear at the top, indicating status.
   
   
   1. Any search filters will need to be cleared before returning to the Stock Take main page.
       
5. Return to the location with internet access to allow the Stock Take to be uploaded from local storage to the backend system. A progress bar will appear showing the progress of uploading the offline edits. 
    
   
6. Click Finalize to finalize the Stock Count.
    

Mobile

1. Log into the 365 Kitchen Management site.
    
2. Click into the Stock Take module.
    
3. Sync Products and then head to the offline location.
