Hello and thank you for tuning into 365 product flash. This is a crash course guide into helping you become an expert in a matter of minutes. These quick videos walk you through the key essentials on different topics products and processes. Let's get started!

Information about our smallest market option: the Beacon. The Beacon contains a small power brick and a USB dongle making installation quick and easy.

This tiny technology is able to be used in combination with other kiosks for busy markets or simply by itself in a smaller market. In a busy market, this allows customers to skip the line and pay for their phone. In a smaller market, this eliminates the need for a bulky machine that would take up their product space.

Placement

Operators should place them within 5 feet of their market, making sure that it's somewhat in a hidden spot so that customers don't tamper with it. However, operators also need to be sure not to put it behind a cooler or freezer, as that will limit the range. When placed optimally, the beacons have a range of approximately 15 to 20 feet. If 15 to 20 feet doesn't quite meet the operator's requirements, they can simply add just two beacons in the location to increase the range.

Connecting to the Beacon

The Beacon utilizes Bluetooth technology in order to communicate. Connecting the beacon is simple for end users of all technological skill levels. The beacon makes use of one of our mobile apps: the 365pay App. The customer will just create or link their account, or if they have an existing account, they can just log in. Once they are logged in, they will see a red circle with a number in it on the shop icon if a beacon is near. They can click on the icon and then select their market. From there, they just need to scan their products and checkout right on their phone.

If the operator places a beacon in their markets, the end-users can make their touchless transactions, keeping the screens and fingerprint readers clean, and keeping them away from other customers potential germs.

And speaking of products, operators can still utilize the promotions in ADM in a Beacon environment: tender, on screen, or bundle. If an end-user is using the app to check out via Beacon, the promotion will automatically apply based on the promotion criteria. The beacon allows 365 to scale to any environment, and it allows the end-users to spend less of their break time waiting in line by checking out on their own personal device. You can expect the same account functionality that you would on a kiosk, but without the bulk.

As always, please reach out to our team if you have any additional questions or requests. Thank you, and we look forward to growing with you.
