Process

For any questions regarding PicoCooler Vision, please reference the article PicoCooler Vision - Operator Guide.

The Add-On Ambient Vision cabinet must be deployed to a location by 365 before it is operational. There is a QR code that is included in the package that links to the 365 Vision Smart Store Deployment Request form, which will need to be filled out.

For any questions regarding retrofitting the Add-On Ambient Cabinet with the loose bridge cable, please reference the article: Add-On Ambient Vision Cabinet - Retrofit Guide.

    1. Bracket Without Side Cable Openings- Secure the camera cables to the power cable.
This will assist with keeping the cables together and allow easy re-attachment of the technology cover.

    2. New Bracket With Camera Cable Openings - Place the Add-On Camera wires into the opening, and re-attach the technology bracket to the side of the PicoCooler Vision.

Starting Up after Installation

Important: Since the unit was unplugged, the PicoCooler Vision will need to go through the initial startup process.

  1. Plug the power cables back in and allow the store 4-6 minutes to boot up.

  2. After Startup completes an error saying “Cooler Safety checks have failed” will appear.

  3. Use the controller a the bottom of the PicoCooler Vision to clear the error by holding the down arrow button for 5 seconds
Three lines will appear “---” when the error has been cleared. For additional support regarding clearing this error please reference the article, Due North (Minus Forty) - Unlocking Coolers using the Temperature Controller.

Testing

  1. Check that both PicoCooler Vision and new Add-On Ambient Cabinet lock lights are blinking. (One light will be green, and the other will be red.)
This confirms the locks are active and working. If these lights are not both on, something has been wired incorrectly.

  2. Run a transaction and wait for the doors to open.

  3. Open both the PicoCooler Vision door and the Add-On Ambient cabinet door.

  4. Close the PicoCooler Vision door while keeping the Add-On Ambient Cabinet open.
The cooler door should not lock; if it does, there is a wiring issue.

  5. Close the Add-On Ambient and open the Cooler door, to confirm the Ambient door does not lock when the Cooler door is open.
The Ambient door should not lock; if it does, there is a wiring issue.

  6. Close both doors; the locks should activate. The Add-On Ambient and PicoCooler Vision are now ready for use.
