Draft Orders Tab

Introduction

A Draft Order is an Order which has been added to the system and saved, and is labeled as an Unconfirmed Order. An Draft can be converted to an order on the Online Ordering Page (if the order is within the Lead Time) and in the Back Office.

 

Online Ordering Page

To allow customers to save their Orders as a Draft, go to Setup > Online Ordering > Options. Scroll to Hide Draft Order Option under General.

Customers can save Drafts within their profile as they make an Order. Read about saving Drafts in the Online Ordering Site Here.

Back Office

A Draft Order is not yet Confirmed.

In the Back Office, this means that a User clicked Save on an Order but did not Confirm.

On the Online Ordering Page, this means that a Customer clicked Save as Draft Order.

A Draft Order also shows up in the main Order Module as an Unconfirmed Order.

Draft Order in the Calendar Module

Draft Orders appear in red on the Calendar and say "Unconfirmed". They don't show up in Production or Delivery Reports.
