Tools Needed
- #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver (Magnetic suggested)
Physical Installation
- Remove the plate from the cooler.
- Attached to the plate, you will find a plastic bag containing small screws. Remove this bag: you will use these screws to attach the Pico device to the cooler.
- Secure the plate to the PicoCooler unit using the screws provided.
- Finish securing the plate to the PicoCooler device. The bottom-left screw will go through the cable clip and into the unit, followed by the top and bottom-right screws.
- Connect the Molex Power Connector and the RJ45 Controller (Yellow Circle) to their respective ports.
On some newer units the RJ45 Controller connection may look different:
- Connect the Ethernet cable to the PicoCooler Vision. This will be a black cable that is labeled as "Ethernet."
- With the back plate now attached and all the cables plugged in, you are ready to attach the Pico to the mount. Hook the bottom edge of the back plate into the mount, then press the device flat against the mount. Press up gently on the bottom of the unit until the top of the mounting plate clicks into place.
- With another provided screw, attach the scanner hood via the hole in the bottom of the unit. This will also help to secure the Pico to the cooler.
- Plug in the power cable from the rear of the cooler to supply power to the unit.
Driver Sign-In
The first time that drivers access the Driver Menu, they must use their ADM credentials, email, and password. For every login after that, they may use their Driver PIN to sign in.
- On the touchscreen of the device, tap the upper-left corner 5 times.
- The Driver Menu will now appear. Tap the Email Sign-In option. Enter your ADM email and password. Alternatively, you may log in using your PIN, but please note that your PIN will only work after you have logged into the device with your ADM email and password at least once before.
Once logged in, Drivers have access to Unlock and Lock the cooler, as well as all other Test Tools and device information.
