Purpose

This article explains how Operators can set up the Loyalty Program feature of the Global Market Account (GMA).
 

Overview

The Loyalty program is a reward points system for consumers who use a GMA. Consumers accumulate points with each 365Pay app purchase, and they can redeem the points for cash back at loyalty enabled locations. The Loyalty program is only available for 365Pay app purchases: it is not available for cash or credit purchases.

Prerequisites

The 365 Pay app requires Bluetooth functionality. For some devices, a Bluetooth antenna will need to be installed to achieve this.

These devices include:

• PicoVend Mini
• Payplus

Process

Once the Loyalty Program is enabled, there is now the ability to set how many loyalty points customers will accrue as they purchase products. This is done via Loyalty Points Multipliers.

Customers will get that many points for every cent they spend. For example, if a product has a multiplier of 2, the customer will get 2 points for each cent: a product priced at $1.00 would then equate to 200 points. If the price of this product was raised to $1.10, and the multiplier kept the same at 2 points for each cent, then the customer would receive 220 points.

Setting the Multiplier by Product

If a product is commonly purchased across multiple machines in the company, we suggest setting a default Loyalty Points Multiplier at the Product level. This way, anytime products are added to a Loyalty-enabled planogram, it will default to that multiplier.

1. Login to AV Live.
    
2. Click on the My Company drop-down menu.
    
3. Click Products.
    
4. Click on the name of a product in the list.
    
5. Select the desired multiplier from the Loyalty Points Multiplier drop-down menu.
    
6. Click Save.
   
   

Setting the Multiplier by Planogram Slot

The Loyalty Points Multiplier can also be set manually for each slot in the planogram.

Planogram slot multipliers are overruled by Product-Level multipliers. If the product placed into the planogram already has a Product-Level multiplier, the Product-Level multiplier will be the one that's applied.

1. Click on the planogram for a machine.
    
2. Select the desired multiplier from the Loyalty Points Multiplier drop-down menu.
    
3. Click Save & Activate.
    

Customer Experience

To use the Loyalty Program, consumers must purchase items using the 365Pay app. The Loyalty Program does not work for credit card or cash purchases.

1. Open the 365Pay app on the mobile device.
    
2. Click on the Shop Icon to see vending machines within Bluetooth range.
    
3. Select the machine and make purchases.

They find their loyalty points on the home screen of the 365Pay app. The number of points they have is listed below their account balance, and they can select the Redeem button, or online at MyMarketAccount.net.
