Purpose

This article instructs vending machine Operators on how to deactivate an AVLive device. Deactivating the device means that there will be no monthly fee/charge for this device, and the card reader will be disabled.

Reactivation can be done at any time. 
 

Process

  1. Locate the device ID of the desired device to deactivate. This is available in AVLive on the Machines page (listed in the Device ID column), or it can be found on a sticker on the back of the device. 

    • For example, a PicoVend device ID will begin with 000572 or 000562. It may also be an older AirVend device with a 16-digit alpha numeric device ID.

  2. Fill out the Device Deactivation form. (For Greenlite Operators, please follow the Greenlite Deactivation Guide.)
     
  3. Once the form is submitted, the AV Support Team will send an email to the address listed in the Deactivation form, when the device has been officially deactivated. Please note that we require 3-5 business days to fully process this request.
