Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline the needed steps to upgrade the Ingenico IPP320 reader from 2.59 to 2.60 firmware.

 

 

Process

Settle Batch

Before beginning the upgrade process, manually settle the batch using the following steps.

  1. Press the green Enter key on the keypad.

  2. Scroll down and select4-Settlement.

  3. Enter the Admin password.
    • The admin password is usually created when the market is first set up.
      Note: Press the F key to scroll between numbers and letters on a key.

Download and Install the Firmware Package

  1. Access the Admin Menu.
    • Press the F Key on the card reader.
    • Input the admin password (This is the password generated during setup of the Ingenico reader; Use the 'F' key to cycle through numbers to letters)

  2. Press the F key to access the Function Menu.

  3. Select 0 (Telium Manger)

  6. Press the F2 key to arrow down, and then Select T.M.S

  7. Select IP/Eth

  8. Select SSL= No

  9. Select IP ADDRESS, Enter IP 63.241.142.236 (Prod) and then press Enter key.
  10. Enter Port number 2600, then press Enter key.

  11. Enter TID (Terminal ID), 365v260 and then press Enter key
    • Take extreme caution when entering "365v260" a typo could cause the installation to fail or pull the wrong version.

  12. Select Off for Protected Download, and then press Enter key

  13. Press Cancel twice to return to the Main Menu.

  14. Press the F key to access the Function Menu.

  15. Select 0 (Telium Manger)

  17. Select 2 (Remote Load)

  18. Leave Software NR blank and press Enter key.

  19. Let the installation process complete.
    • Please note: this process will usually take 2-3 minutes, and reboot the device multiple times.
