Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide instructions for configuring Tesoro & Sanofi RFID badge readers used with ReadyTouch kiosks.

Tesoro

1. Download and install the RFIDeas Config Utility.
2. Once installed, go to the top right and click on the 3 lines icon, then select Device, then click Reset to Defaults.
   
   
3. On the left-hand side, select the Format tab.
   
   
4. On the top, change Configuration 1 to Configuration 2.
   • Configuration 2 should be set to iClass ID by default.
     
     
5. In the Format tab, select Data Format and change the ID field Bit Count from 16 to 20.
   
   
6. In the same Format tab, click the Write Settings button in the top-left corner.
   
   
7. Lastly, test the badge in the test area.

Sanofi

1. Download and install the pcProx Config Utility.
   
   
2. Connect the RFIDeas reader to a USB port.
   
   
3. Inside the pcProx Config Utility, click Connect.
   
   
4. Choose File → Open, then navigate to and select the hwg+ file, then click Open.
   • This file can be downloaded from the bottom of the Table of Contents section on the left-hand side of this article.
   • The below is an example of the configuration settings:
     
5. Click Write Active.
   
   
6. When the write is complete, click Disconnect.
