Purpose
The purpose of this article is to provide instructions for removing unwanted products from Lightspeed picklists. This process should be followed in lieu of continuously not picking or entering "need=0" on the picklist order.
Process
The process for removing products from sections changes depending on the Lightspeed feature being utilized, whether it be Lights or Mobile.
It is important to note that the product needs to be disabled or have its min/max inventory values set to 0 on the provider (SmartHQ, ADM, Vendsys, Vendmax, etc.), otherwise the product will continue to show up in orders unmapped.
Lights
- In Lightspeed Administrator, navigate to Lightspeed Settings → Map Products to Lights.
- Click Edit on the associated product.
- Scroll all the way to the top of the product list and highlight the empty space.
- Alternatively, if you are looking to change this tag to a different product, choose that new product from the list. If you are not seeing your new product on the list, follow the instruction in this article.

- Click Update to finalize the change.

Mobile
- In Lightspeed Administrator, navigate to Lightspeed Settings → Map Products for Mobile.
- Choose the associated zone.
- From this page you can add/remove racks and sections as needed.
- To remove a product, click into its associated section.
- These sections correspond right Racks and Sections for the mobile picking zones.

- Click on the text of the entry that contains the product you want to remove.
- On the drop-down menu, scroll all the way up and choose the empty space.
- Alternatively, if you are looking to change this tag to a different product, choose that new product from the drop-down list. If you are not seeing your new product on the list, follow the instruction in this article.
