Network Requirements
REVO DVR systems require port forwarding for remote viewing of the camera system. All communication is routed directly to the REVO camera system from our router. The cameras can be viewed from the revodvr.com website with the network name setup on the DVR system.
For V5 kiosks running a Meraki Z1 or Z3 router, we utilize split-tunneling to force DVR traffic over the internet instead of through our hardware VPN. The REVO DVR should always be plugged into the highest numbered LAN port on the Meraki
