Purpose
This document covers many of the common troubleshooting processess used for the 365Lockers system. Most of these processess utilize controll panel settings, as well as ADM settings and hardware configurations.
Model Numbers
- Master (aka Host) Standalone Locker Model: 3641
- Satellite Locker Model: 3642
Confirm Versions, Serial Number, and ID Check
To confirm the versions, serial number, and ID Check:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, right of the control board. This will change from locker dispensing mode to service mode.
- Scroll until you see Help on the display (at the very bottom) and tap it.
- The About screen will display.
- Versions, Serial Number, and Flexcon IDCheck will be available for viewing.
Confirming that Master Locker is Provisioned to Correct URL
To confirm that the locker is provisioned and pointed to the correct URL:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, right corner of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see Connections and tap it.
- The Network Connections screen will display. Tap the FlexConnect Settings option.
- The Password Entry screen will display.
- Enter 2314 from the display keypad on the Password screen and tap the Green Arrow icon.
The Flexcon Settings screen will display.
Note: 2314 is the default password. If the password has been changed, enter that new password.
- Check URL 1 from the Flexcon Settings screen and update URL 1 if needed.
- Tap the Save icon in the top, right corner. Your production URL should be https://api.prod.365rm.us/kdsapi/lockers.asmx
- Verify FlexConnect Intf. Type should be set to IDCheck.
- Tap the Save icon in the upper, right corner.
Operator Checks the Locker Controller IP Address to Verify Internet Connectivity
To check the IP address of the master locker controller to verify connectivity to the internet:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door) This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, right of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see Options and tap it.
- The Options screen will display. Tap the Show IP button.
IMPORTANT: If you see two IP addresses, follow the next set of instructions on Deactivating WiFi so your locker controller does not get confused on which connection to use.
- The IP Address prompt will display on the Options screen showing the controller IP address. If the IP address is shown, your controller is connected to the internet.
Deactivating WiFi (recommended to prevent confusion with more than one network in the building)
To deactivate the WiFi connection:
- Press Connections from the main service mode list of options.
- Press WiFi Settings on the Network Connection screen.
- Enter Random SSID on the WiFi Settings screen.
- Tap the Save icon on the top, right of the screen.
Operator Sets the Advanced Option “Selection Digit” to “3S”
To set the Selection Digit to 3S:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, left corner of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see Advanced Options tap it.
- The Enter Password screen will display.
- Enter 2314 from the display keypad on the Password screen.
- Tap the Green Arrow The Advanced Options screen will display.
Note: 2314 is the default password. If the password has been changed, enter that new password. - Tap the Selection Digit option and select 3S from the drop-down menu.
- Tap the Save icon in the top, right corner.
Operator Sets the Motor Type Maintenance Option “Motor Type” to “S Locker”
To set the Motor Type to “S Locker”:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, left corner of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see Motor Type Maintenance and tap it.
- The Motor Type Maintenance screen will display. Tap the Select All button and all cubby addresses should be highlighted in blue.
- Select the Motor Type option for “S Locker”.
- Tap the Save icon in the top, right corner.
Operator Performs Motor Count to Check Connectivity of Satellite Locker(s)
You will need to perform a motor count to determine if the satellite locker(s) and their associated cubbies, with cubby motors, are being recognized by the master controller and are issue free:
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, left corner of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see Motor Count and tap it. The Motor Count screen will display.
- Tap the Count Motor button on the Motor Count screen. The counting bar will progress as it performs a check on each of the locker(s) motors. The final total count will display at the top Current Motor Count tally. All green-labeled cubby addresses will denote which locker cubby motors have been counted successfully. Those with cubby addresses labeled in gray were not counted successfully.
Operator Tests Opening One or More Cubby Door(s)
To open one, multiple, or all of the cubby doors for maintenance and/or cleanout:
Note: To open a specific cubby door you will need to know the cubby address you are wanting to open as the layout on the display may not match exactly to the physical locker appearance.
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, left corner of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see the Diagnostics option and tap it.
- The Diagnostics screen will display. Tap the Test Vend The Test Vending screen will display.
- Tap Select All at the top to open all cubby doors in each of the lockers OR tap the specific cubbies that you want to open.
- Tap Start to begin cycling through and opening either one cubby, multiple cubbies one at a time, or all cubbies one at a time (for more than one cubby the next cubby will open when the previous cubby door closes).
Operator Updates the Locker Software Version
To update your locker software version:
Create the Update on USB Stick
- Delete everything on the USB stick (it must be an empty, formatted USB stick).

Unzip the zipped SBS folder you received.
Note: When it has been unzipped, you will see one folder titled sbc and one file in that folder titled FlexConnectController.
- Drag or copy/paste that entire unzipped sbc folder onto your USB stick.
Install USB Stick
- Open the control panel on the cubby by taking the key and opening the cubby door.
- Insert the USB stick, as shown below.
Note: If there is already a USB stick, replace it with the new USB stick. However, if there is no USB stick, then firmly insert the new USB stick in the port. If there is something else already inserted in that port shown in the image, then insert the USB stick into the port directly behind it.
Update Locker
- Tap the Service Mode button on the inside back panel.
Note: The front display should go into Service Mode and look like the image below with numerous service mode options. - Scroll until you see the Connections option and tap it.
- Tap FlexConnect Settings on the Network Connections screen.
- Enter your password on Enter Password screen (enter the 2314 default password if you have not changed the password).
- Tap the Green Arrow icon.
- Tap Flex Connect Firmware Update. You will briefly see a small update overlay on top of this screen after which the screen will turn black and perform the update.
Note: Let the display run through all the various screens without touching it. - Power cycle the locker when you see the main screen.
- Again, allow the display to run through various screens until it returns to the main screen.
Verify Updated Version
- Tap the Service Mode button on the inside back panel.
- Scroll to the Help option and tap it.
- Select About on the Help screen.
- Verify the Flexcon Version: IdCheck x.xx on the About screen, which will give you the version installed.
Operator Sets Control Panel to Factory Settings
***LAST RESORT***
To set the control panel back to factory settings and start over:
IMPORTANT: This may be necessary to clear an old planogram or if you have a unit that has old settings that have not cleared out on their own and are having major issues.
- Unlock and open the control panel cubby using the keys provided (taped to the control panel door). This will give you access to the Service Mode button located on the back of the control board.
- Press the Service Mode button on the lower, left of the control board. This will change from Locker Dispensing Mode to Service Mode.
- Scroll until you see the System Updates option and tap it.
- The Service Updates screen will display. Run Clear Planogram.
- Run Reset All Settings.
- Verify that Select Digit is set to 3S and Save.
- Set Motor Type Maintenance to S Locker.
- Click Select All and Save.
- Run Motor Count and verify that all cubby motors are successfully counted.
- Run Test Vend and verify that all cubbies can vend successfully.
