Purpose
This article describes how to create ward-level orders within the 365 Kitchen Management Electronic Patient Meal Ordering (ePMO) system.
Process
Ward orders are used to request stock or pantry items for the ward.
Creating a Ward Order
- Select Create Ward Order from the Ward view to open the order screen.
- Review the default menu assigned to the ward. This is configured by the administration module.
- Select required items.
- Adjust quantities within set available stock limits if applicable. Stock limits if applicable, based on how the account is set up, will be shown underneath the add/remove field of the item.
- Select X Dishes Selected, with X representing the amount of dishes added, to continue to sending the order.
- Add order notes if required.
- Select send order.
An order ID is generated upon submission.
Ward Order Visibility
Submitted ward orders are not visible from the main view of the web based module. Open ward orders can be viewed from the picker screen.
