Purpose
This article explains how to modify existing orders, complete orders, and manage open order statuses within the 365 Kitchen Management Electronic Patient Meal Ordering (ePMO) system.
Process
Editing an Order
Orders can be edited as long as it is before the scheduled service time.
- Select the bed containing the order.
- Scroll down to the order.
- Click the caret (^) to expand the order details.
- Select edit to re-open the ordering screen for the order. The order number will display at the top.
- Modify items as required.
- Select save.
The updated order displays an edit timestamp.
Completing an Order
Completed orders will update the bed status and remove any open order indicators.
As a best practice, orders should be marked as completed after food has been served to remove open order indicators.
- Select the bed containing the order.
- Locate the order.
- Select Complete to engage a pop up.
- Select Yes to complete the order.
Bulk Completion
Orders marked as ready for collection can be completed in bulk.
- Identify beds with ready for collection status.
- Select complete all from the Ward screen.
- Confirm the action.
