Purpose
The updated Modifiers Group experience introduces a more streamlined and flexible workflow for creating and managing modifier groups within the Menu module. This enhancement improves usability by reducing upfront constraints and simplifying how modifier items are added and configured.
Key Improvement
In the previous version, users were required to add all Modifier-Only Items first before they could create or configure a modifier group.
This created an unnecessary dependency and interrupted the natural flow of setup.
In the new version, this requirement has been removed. Users can now create and configure modifier groups independently, with items added directly within the configuration process.

Location in the System
The updated functionality is available in the Menu module -> Modifier groups.
- The index view displays a full list of existing modifier groups.
- Users can create new modifier groups directly from this view.
Creating a Modifier Group
When adding a new modifier group, users can configure the following:
- Modifier group name.
- Minimum quantity.
- Maximum quantity.
Selecting Items to a Modifier Group
Within the modifier group setup, users can:
- Select items from an available list.
- Assign supplement values to each item.
- Add new items directly via a dropdown option, without needing to pre-create them.
