Impulsify - Reactivate a Suspended Account

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline how to reactivate suspended accounts and help the user regain access.

  • Users may become locked out of Impulsify accounts following too many failed login attempts. Use this process to restore access.
  • You will need Manager or Admin level permissions in Impulsify to reactivate a suspended account.

 

Process

  1. Log into Impulsify with a Manager or Admin level account.
     
  2. Navigate to Manage > Manage Store > Add/Edit/Deactivate Users.
     
  3. Apply view filters.
    1. Check Inactive and Suspended.
    2. Click Apply.

  4. Locate the user's name on the list.
     
  5. Click the Edit icon (Pencil) next to the user.
     
  6. Change the user's Status to Active.

  7. Save changes.
     
  8. After the account status has been changed, the user will need to reset their password. Send the user the article: Resetting Your Password or follow the steps below:
    1. Go to the Impulsepoint login page. 
       
    2. Select Forgot Password.

    3. Follow the prompts to create a new valid password.

      • Please note: If the user attempts to log in repeatedly without resetting their password, the account may be suspended again.
