Purpose

This article outlines the process for connecting the Pico S1U365 and the included adapter to a PicoCooler Vision or other Vision Smart Store device. This process applies to both Due North (Minus Forty) and Imbera coolers.
 

Process

1. Ensure that the Pico on hand for installation is the Pico S1U365.
   
   
   Note: The 2 silver posts on opposite sides of the RJ-45 jack in the left picture (showing the back of the S1U365) are antenna connections, which are only used when a SIM card is inserted directly. Since PicoCoolers and Stockwells use an OptConnect, they are not needed in those configurations.
    
2. Connect the power end of the adapter to the MDB port on the Pico S1U365.
   
   
3. Connect the white 6-pin Molex from the cooler (with the clip facing up) to the respective end of the adapter.
   
   
4. Connect the COM/RS232 RJ45 cable to the respective end of the adapter.
   
   
5. Connect the remaining RJ45 Ethernet cable into the silver-shielded port on the Pico S1U365.
   
   
6. The Pico S1U365 can now be attached to the PicoCooler Vision or other Vision Smart Store device.
