Purpose
This article walks through how to view, filter, import/export, download, and print HFSS information from the Recipes Admin page.
HFSS must be enabled for a site before HFSS-specific designations will appear.
Process
Once HFSS is enabled, the Recipe Admin page will have new filters and selections specific to HFSS - such as the Score/Category columns, and the ability to filter recipes by Category.
Set HFSS Score and Category Values
To set HFSS Score and Category values for a recipe:
- Click the pencil icon for a recipe to edit it.
- In the Ingredients and Allergens tab, there will be new fields for Category and HFSS Score:
-
Category - The Category field has the option to select Food or Drink.
This is important, because there's different HFSS calculations and different scores depending on the category. -
HFSS Score - The HFSS score is currently entered in manually. Scores can be calculated with the help of the NPM (Nutrient Profile Model) Calculator.
The range goes from -15 to 40.
If an HFSS score is entered outside these parameters and a Save is attempted, the software will generate a validation error, stating what the range should be.
-
Category - The Category field has the option to select Food or Drink.
- Once the correct HFSS Score is entered and the applicable Category is selected, click the Save button to save changes.
- Back at the Recipe Admin page, the Category and Score designations will appear under the Category and Score columns.
