Purpose
The purpose of this article is to describe the Operator user profile role for 365 Kitchen Management (Kafoodle) services.
Overview
On the Create User screen, select the 'Operator' user level. The Operator role sits below the Recipe Admin user role and above the Staff Member user role. You may also check the 'Limit operations on stock orders in S&O' box during Edit User to give the Operator limited access to stock orders in Stock&Ordering.
- With limited S&O access, the Operator can receive goods for placed orders and any export operations for orders.
On the Home page, the Operator role has access to Recipes, Menus, Datasheets, Stock&Ordering, and Meal Planning.
- They do not have access to Ingredients, Audit Logs, or Preorder Availability (for sites where IM is enabled)
Recipes
Operators may not create, update, copy, or delete Recipes. Operators may read and view only.
An Operator can open a Recipe Edit form and scale a recipe without saving the Recipe, if needed. An Operator may print this scaled Recipe without needing to save (saving disabled).
Operators have access to the following Bulk edit options: Recipes Bulk Print, Bulk Labelling, Labels Bulk Export for Planglow.
Menus and Datasheets
Operators have access to Allergen, Nutrition, Full Nutrition, and Carbon Footprint Datasheet(s).
- Operators do not have access to the Cost Datasheet.

- Labeling - same access as a Recipe Admin (Full Access)
- Essentials - same access as a Recipe Admin
- IM/WBA - Full Access, except Preorder Availability in Kitchen
- Meal Planning - Full Access
- S&O - Full Access, can be toggled under Edit User.
