Purpose

This article outlines the steps to be followed when replacing the PC, as the result of an RMA, inside of a PicoCooler Vision device.
 

Process

  1. Locate the back panel cover of the PicoCooler Vision.
     
  2. Hold the cover in place with a free hand while removing first the top two screws, then the bottom two screws of this cover.

  3. Remove the cover to reveal the internal components. Once the rear cover is removed there will be access to the PC.

  4. Disconnect all connections to the current PC (shown in green).

  5. Remove the 4 screws holding the PC on the unit (screw locations in red).
     
  6. Attach the replacement PC to the unit with the 4 screws.
     
  7. Once the PC is firmly in place, reconnect all connections to the New PC. Reconnect the Power to the PC last after all other connections are in place.
     
  8. Allow the PC 10 minutes to start up uninterrupted before attempting a test transaction.
