Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline the options available and install process for Shoulder Carrying Straps on 365 Dining Handheld devices.

Process

1. Identify the type of shoulder carrying strap for use. Shown below is the Ribbon type (from the tablet manufacturer) and Loop-String type (aftermarket).

   
2. Place the Tablet on its side with the desired Screen/Card Reader orientation upwards (device should be upright when carrying/in use).  Locate the first anchor point on one of the Tablet corners.
   
3. Loop the first part of the strap's fastener through the metal bar and secure it.

   • Ribbon style: Put initial line through, then double back through the black metal holder.

     

   • Loop-String style: detach the side-release buckle to separate the loop head, put the loop string under the metal bar, put the loop head plastic through the string loop, pull it tight and closed.

     
4. Attach the other half of the strap on the other side of the Tablet using the same method as the first anchor. Adjust strap length and test connections to make sure everything is secure.
