365 Dining Handheld - How to Image the Tablet

Purpose

This article outlines the process for imaging the 365 Dining Handheld Tablet. 

  • Please note: this process will require a USB Hub, a USB Keyboard, and a USB Stick Drive with the 365 Dining Handheld Imaging File.
     

Hardware Overview

Confirm access to the pictured hardware needed for this process.

Process

  1. Locate the port cover (on the side of the Tablet) to plug in the USB Hub and other USB devices.

  2. Connect the USB Keyboard, Mouse, and Stick Drive. Hold the Power Button on the Tablet until you feel a vibration (the Tablet powering on).
    • On the Keyboard, press the del or F11 button when the 'Partner Tech' logo screen loads to boot the Tablet into BIOS.
       
  3. Once the BIOS menu loads, use the Tab key on your keyboard to navigate over to the 'Boot' menu section. Under 'Boot Option Priorities' make sure 'Boot Option #1' is set to the USB Device UEFI USB, Partition 1.
    • If not, click and change this to the USB Device UEFI USB, Partition 1.

    • Once you have confirmed the correct Boot Option, use the Tab button on the keyboard to navigate to 'Save and Exit'. Alternatively, press F10 to save and exit.
       
  4. The Tablet will boot to the install process and you may press enter or wait for the process to auto start.
    • The install process is created with no need for user interaction (past this point) and will auto power off once finished so you can image multiple tablets or other devices.

  5. Once done remove the USB Hub and power the Tablet back up to confirm successful imaging.
