Purpose
This HelpCenter guide provides a clear overview of how Operators can manage Parlevel Wallet availability at the Company and Account levels,
as well as the resulting changes to the kiosk interface when wallet features are disabled.
Overview
Operators now have complete control over whether wallet features appear on Parlevel kiosks.
This is useful for environments where wallets are not needed (e.g., airports, mini kiosks without fingerprint/bill acceptors), and for Operators who prefer card-only payment flows.
Disabling wallets removes all wallet-related UI elements from the kiosk.
Requirements & Version Notes
- Operators must have proper permissions to access Company and Account levels.
- A kiosk must be running the updated kiosk software, supporting the wallet‑hide functionality.
- When VMS toggles are changed, the kiosk UI updates automatically after a sync.
Where Wallet Controls Exist
Wallet availability can be controlled at two hierarchical levels: Company Level (Global Control) and Account Level.
Company Level (Global Control)
Who uses it: Company administrators
Where: Company Settings Market
Setting: Toggle Parlevel Kiosk Wallets On & Off (Global)
How it works:
- Turning this OFF disables wallets across every Parlevel kiosk in the company.
- Disabling at this level prevents wallet toggles at the account level.
- A confirmation prompt appears before saving.
Account Level
Who uses it: Operators managing customer accounts.
Where: Settings > Customers Accounts > Markets tab > Parlevel Wallet section.
Setting: Toggle Parlevel Kiosk Wallets On & Off (Account).
How it works:
- Only available when the Company toggle is ON.
- Turning this OFF disables wallets for all kiosks under that account.
- Confirmation prompt shown before saving.
What Changes on the Kiosk UI when Wallets are Disabled
When wallet functionality is disabled at any level:
- The blue Wallet button on the main screen is hidden.
- Fingerprint login button is hidden (if wallet login is not permitted).
- Wallet payment option is removed from the checkout screen.
- Wallet recharge/top‑up screens are removed.
- Wallet creation and wallet view options are hidden.
If a kiosk has a fingerprint reader, and the user taps a fingerprint:
- Behavior is under validation, but expected behavior is: wallet login should not activate if wallet usage is disabled.
- QA test case pending final confirmation.
Changes take effect automatically when the kiosk syncs. If the kiosk is offline, changes will apply once it reconnects.

What Users See When Wallets are Enabled vs. Disabled
Enabled:
- Wallet login button
- Wallet blue button on main screen
- Wallet top‑up options
- Wallet payment during checkout
Disabled:
- All wallet-related UI is hidden
- Only card/cash (if available) payment flows appear
Process
Manage Wallets at the Company Level
- Log in to the VMS with a user account that has access to Company Settings.
- Navigate to Company Settings > Market.
- Locate the Enable Parlevel Kiosk Wallets toggle above the Wallet Reload Values.
- To disable wallets for all Parlevel kiosks in the company, switch the toggle OFF.
- Review the confirmation prompt that appears and confirm the change.
- Save your changes.
Result: Wallet options are disabled for all Parlevel kiosks in the company, and wallet controls at the Account level is no longer available.
Manage Wallets at the Account Level
- Log in to the VMS with a user account that has access to Customers > Accounts.
- Navigate to Settings > Customers > Accounts.
- Open the relevant account and go to the Markets tab.
- Locate the toggle labeled Toggle Parlevel Kiosk Wallets On & Off (Account) between Koin Settings and Wallet Funding.
- To disable wallets for all Parlevel kiosks under this account, switch the toggle OFF.
- Review the confirmation prompt and confirm the change.
- Save your changes.
Result: Wallet options are disabled for all Parlevel kiosks under this account.
Account-level wallet controls remain available only if the Company-level setting is enabled.
Verify Changes on the Kiosk UI
- Allow the kiosk to sync with the VMS. (This may take a few minutes.)
- On the kiosk main screen, confirm that wallet-related options (such as the blue wallet button and wallet login) are no longer visible when wallets are disabled.
- Proceed through the checkout flow and confirm that wallet payment is not offered as a payment option when wallets are disabled.
Result: When wallets are disabled at any level, wallet-related options are removed from the kiosk interface.
