365 Dining Handheld - How to Install Link2500 CC Reader
Updated

Purpose

This article outlines the process for installing the Link2500 CC Reader (and Card Reader Holder) for use with the 365 Dining Handheld Tablet.

Hardware Overview

Below Images show the mounting screws for the Card Reader Holder, the Tablet with Card Reader Holder and Carrying Strap installed, and the Card Reader itself. Please note: This process will require a Philips head Screwdriver to mount the Card Reader Holder.

Process

  1. Install the Card Reader Holder and Carrying Strap (if used) before connecting the Card Reader.
    • If using the Carrying Strap, locate the four screws in the center of the back face of the Tablet (The screws are below the speakers, see image). Insert screws on one end first, tighten them, then pull strap across and insert and tighten the other two screws. There can be some tension in the hand strap band when installing. Be careful not to strip the screws.

    • Install the Card Reader Holder by using the 4 screws near the Barcode Scanner on the back of the Tablet. Tighten the two inner screws first, then the outer.
