Purpose

This article overviews how to create menus from an active meal plan.

Process

1. From the Meal Planning Dashboard, click on the 3 vertical dots for the active meal plan you want to create menu(s) for, then click CREATE MENUS from the resulting dropdown.
   
   
2. This will take you to the Recipe and Menu Management module. From here, click on the Menus section to reach the menu creation page.
   
   
3. The menu creation page shows customizable fields to create a menu for that meal plan.
   The naming convention gives the name of the meal plan, the week, the day, and the meal service.
   
   So it is recommended to leave that in the Reference field to identify which meal plan the menu came from, but shorten the name in the Name field, since that's the customer-facing/published name of the menu. 
   
   
   
4. Enter in the rest of the fields to finish up the menu.
   Once the menu has been created, click the ✓ Save button at the bottom to save the menu and return to the Meal Planning Dashboard.
