Purpose
This article overviews the UI for errors and validation within the Recipe and Menu Management modules.
Process
Menu Section
Menu
Click + new menu to reach the Create Menu page.
Validation on menu details:

Click + new menu group to reach the Create Menu Group page.

Validation once menus have been sorted and saved:
Recipe Section
Create Ingredient
Click + new ingredient to reach the Create Recipe page.
- Validation on Information tab only.
- Compulsory fields (*) cannot be left blank/empty.
- Must set a minimum of 1 does contain or may contain, or select No allergens.
Delete Ingredient
Cannot be deleted as used in recipe, names of recipes included.
Recipe list has been turned off/hidden
Delete Ingredient List
Cannot be deleted with ingredients on the list.
Can be turned off/hidden.
Create Recipe
Click + new recipe to reach the Create Recipe page.
- Validation on Description and Ingredients and Allergens tabs.
- Compulsory fields (*) cannot be left blank/empty.
- Must set a minimum of 1 ingredient, including quantity (qty) or 1 additional allergen or select No allergens.
Edit Recipe
Ingredient list no longer shared/turned on with site or recipe list no longer shared/turned on (batch/sub recipes).
Nutrition information on ingredient contains blank fields.
No conversion of mass or volume on UoM used in qty.
Example below: an “each” conversion would need to be added
Delete Recipe
Business Group - Shared recipes.
Recipe cannot be deleted because it belongs to menus you have no access to.
Recipe list turned off or recipe in use in menus at child business level.
Named menu/s include live and archived
