Overview
When V5 kiosks go into CC Local mode, credit cards can still be used by consumers to complete their transaction, even though the swipe has not been fully validated. To provide better experiences for operators, we have added the ability to cutoff the CC acceptance in these scenarios.

Additional details on the expectations from the matrix
- ADM Setting – will indicate whether there is a value entered for the Offline CC setting for the device in ADM. If the value is set to 0, that means we will not be accepting offline CC transactions and will decline the transactions in those scenarios. If there is a positive value set, that means offline CC transactions are active, up to that point in time.
- Device Status – indicates the current status of the device, whether it is online and successfully communicating or if it is offline and is not successfully communicating.
- Processor Disconnected/Error – In this scenario, we are assuming we cannot communicate to the processor, which is one of the criteria set for knowing we are in this “CC Local mode”.
- Is Within CC Duration – indicates whether we have hit the time limit set for the CC Cutoff setting in ADM. If we have not yet reached the threshold, we can accept the transactions, but if the limit has been met or exceeded, we will decline the transactions.
- End Result – is the ultimate result of the transaction and if it was accepted or declined based on the prior criteria.
Kiosk tracking of first cc local transaction to current time
Calculates the time from first cclocal transaction to the current time to determine if the transaction should be completed based on the SFE setting .
The CC Local Cutoff (Hours) setting on the Device Summary page determines how long a kiosk can be in cclocal before it starts to disallow credit card payments.
