ADM - Search Button Options

Overview

Operators have the option to set the Search button to show or hide at a location or device level for V5 MicroMarkets, ReadyTouch/365Dining devices (in self-service mode), NanoMarkets, PicoMarkets, PicoCoolers, and PicoCooler Breeze. If the Search button is enabled, a Search button would show on the point of sale. This would allow the end-user to manually type in the name or UPC of a product and select it for checkout.

 

Examples

The Search button appears as the following, depending on the device:

  • V5 MicroMarket

Show/Hide Search Button for ALL Devices at Location

  1. Log into ADM

  2. Select the desired location from the Location List.

  3. The Location Summary page will load. Click the long blue button that says Click here for location information and settings (+) to expand the Info section.

  4. Locate the Show Prd Lookup Btn. This field can be set to Yes or No to enable or disable the product lookup search button on the kiosk. This will apply to all devices at a location.

  5. Save the change.

Show/Hide Search Button for Specific Device at Location

If there are multiple devices at a location, but the operator only wants some of the devices to have the search field enabled, while the others have it disabled, this can be set individually in the Device Summary screen.

  1. Log into ADM

  2. Select the desired location from the Location List.

  3. The Location Summary page will load. From this page, select the specific device from the Devices tab.

  4. The Device Summary page will load. Locate the Show Search Btn field. This field can be set to Yes or No independently of the location setting, OR it can be set to Inherit from Location so that it takes on the location setting. This will apply to only this device at the location.

  5. Save the change.
