Specs on AirVend Security, Credit Card Data Transfers, and Wireless Credit Processing

AirVend adheres to the same security protocols as would an online banking system. In general terms, no credit card data is ever stored on the AirVend unit or AirVend servers. All credit card data is immediately encrypted and transferred directly to the credit card processing company being used by an operator.

Our Official Statement on Wireless Security:

"AirVend adheres to PCI Compliance standards in its treatment of credit card transactions. No credit card data is stored on the AirVend device or in AirVend’s back-end system.

The credit card data is immediately encrypted and sent up to the credit card processor. All the data is encrypted with 128-bit security protocols and is transferred using the HTTPS protocol and uses SSL in its underlying (socket) layer."
