Purpose
The MM Create MKA Flow setting in ADM determines the account creation flow the end-user is taken through after selecting the "Create Account" button on the kiosk. This article explains how to adjust these settings.
ADM Settings
Follow these steps to change the MM Create MKA Flow field.
- Log into ADM. The Location List will now display, as it is the home page of ADM.

- By default, the Devices tab will be displayed on this page. In the Device Name Column, select the name of the device you would like to modify.
- The Device Summary page will now display for the device you selected. From here, click on the MM Create MKA Flow field.

Customer Experience - Account Creation via Kiosk
- When a customer approaches a V5 kiosk that has had one of the MKA flow options enabled, they will have the option to start scanning items, log in to their existing account, or to select the Create Account button at the top of the screen.
- Depending on which MKA Flow option you have chosen, they will be able to create their account via a variety of methods, such as entering their email address, scanning their ID, or scanning their fingerprint.
- However they have chosen to create their account, they will then be prompted to enter the PIN for their account, and to confirm their PIN.
- After they have entered their PIN information, they will be prompted to enter their first and last name.
- Depending on the MKA flow you have selected for this kiosk, they may be prompted to provide additional information at this stage. For example, if this kiosk is set to the MKA Flow of Scan ID/Email, a customer may have started the account creation process by scanning their ID. At this stage, they would then have the option to provide their email address. For a second example, if the same customer had started by providing their email address first instead, they would have the option to provide their Scan ID at this stage, instead.
- The customer's account has now been created, and they may continue their shopping experience.
