Purpose
This article explains how to check out using the Delta SkyMiles App on an iPAD mini. For full details of each screen including the ReadyTouch download our full training guide at the bottom, right of this article under "Attachments".
Set-Up Process
To pay using Delta SkyMiles, complete the following steps:
- Enter your Pin, then select Go.
- Enter the purchase amount, then select Go.

The enter SkyMiles screen displays.
- If the customer has a ticket, boarding pass, or SkyMiles card,
touch the black button to enable a scan or swipe. - Scan or swipe fills in the Customer's name and account number.
- To scan the barcode, hold the button down next to the scanner, and point at the barcode.
OR
- Hand the iPad to the customer to enter their SkyMiles credentials.
- To move between fields, enter the info and touch Next.
- If the customer does not remember their password, they will need to visit delta.com for assistance.
- If the customer has a ticket, boarding pass, or SkyMiles card,
- When the account information has been entered, touch Go
- If the customer does not have enough points or the information was not entered correctly, an error will display instead of select tip.
- The customer will be prompted to select a tip amount.
- The customer selects a tip, and the order confirmation screen displays. Touch
Complete Transaction.
- the customer can select no receipt or email receipt. If the customer selects email receipt,
they will need to re-enter it in the system as emails are not stored.
- The "Thank you" screen displays, and prompts the customer to return the iPad to the server.
