Process

- Click on the "Hard Count" button that is just above the first product listed.
- On the far right of the screen, you will see export buttons. Export the hard count to Excel.

- Save the Excel file.
- Go back into ImpulsePoint and navigate to Manage Inventory > Import Inventory tab.
- Import the saved Excel file. This should wipe out your inventory on all products so you can start from scratch.
- Go back to the Hard Count section. Click your cursor back into the Search field, and start scanning each product back into ImpulsePoint.
- Confirm your count is the total inventory on the property (back stock and what is on the shelf)

- After scanning all product inventory back into the system, any product that still has a "0" inventory is an old UPC or product that needs to be deactivated.
- The easiest place to start deactivating old products is the Underperforming Products report (you can access this via Home screen). Filter the "In Stock" column from smallest to largest. Take care in using the "Select All" button when deactivating products, especially if some of the old products still have semi-recent sales
