Purpose

This article serves as a guide for the Machines / POS Full Report page. This page shows a detailed look at machine / POS activity, including daily sales, product sales performance and service history. Data is specific to a chosen machine / POS within a set date range.

Process

  1. Log into the Organization's VMS.
     
  2. Navigate to Analytics.
     
  3. Select Vending Financial

  4. Select Machines / POS Full Report.

  5. Set a date range.

  6. Choose a Machine.

  7. Press the green play button to pull the report.

Report Containers

Level 1

  • Other Machine Reports
    • [Sales By Hour] - Machine / POS Sales By Hour

    • [Weekly Sales] - Weekly Sales By Machine / POS

    • [Day Of The Week] - Machine / POS Sales By Day Of The Week

  • Sales And Services
    • Cashless - The total cashless sales reported within the set date range.

    • Cash - The total cash sales reported within the set date range.

    • Total - The total value of products sold within the set date range.

    • Daily Avg. - The calculated average sales per day within the set date range.
      • Calculation: Daily Avg. = Total รท the number of days within the set date range.

    • Service Avg. - The average amount of collected cash and cashless sales "collected" from services within the set date range.

Level 2

  • Search - Filter results by searching for a reported sale amount or by searching a day of the week.

  • Sales by Product - a donut chart displaying product sales as a percentage of overall sales.

 

Level 3

  • Total Sales- Line graph showing total sales in currency amounts based on the date shown.

Level 4

  • Machine Service Information - A table summarizing service totals for the asset within the set date range.
    • Date - Date & time when the service was marked as complete. Clicking the Date takes you to the Service Ticket, which allows for viewing all recorded details for the service.

  • Route - The asset's assigned route for the service.

  • Driver - The Driver who serviced the asset.

  • Status - The final service status.

  • Inv Level - The determined onboard inventory level.

  • Cash - Total cash sales reported from this service.

  • Credit Card - Total cashless sales reported from this service.

  • Total Sales - Total cash + cashless sales reported from this service.

  • Bills - Total cash bills collected from this service.

  • Coins - Total cash coins collected from this service.

  • Total Collected - Total cash collected and cashless sales "collected" during route consolidation from this service.

  • Refunds - Total dollar value of refunds issued during the service.

  • O/S - The dollar difference between the amount collected and the amount expected to collect.

Level 5

  • Machine Service Graph - Line graph showing Total Sales and Total Collected based on each service date within the set date range.
