Purpose
This article serves as a guide for the Selection Stock Out report.
Report Description
The Selection Stock Out report provides an overview of sold out products with estimated missed sales, days sold out, and more.
Each row is a separate product slot.
How to Access the Report
- From your Org's VMS, navigate to Analytics > Vending Financial > Selection Stock Out Report.
- Set a date range, select a machine, then click the green play button to run the report.
Table Totals
The Table Totals will display to the upper right of the table columns.
- Total Missed Sales: The calculated all-time value of missed product sales, due to stock being sold out.
Table Columns
- Selection: Product slot ID. (Numbers formatted '#-#' indicate 'row number-column number'.)
- Product: Name of product assigned to the Selection. Clicking the name opens the Product Details screen.
- Type: Product type.
- Machine: Asset name. Clicking the name opens the asset's model.
- Location: Location name. Clicking the name opens the Location Details screen.
- # of Sold Outs: The current number of empty slots in the asset within the set date range.
- Time of Sell Out: Date & time when the slot sold out.
- Time of Refill: Date & time when the slot was restocked.
- Time Sold Out: The amount of time the slot remained sold out before being restocked.
- Daily Consumption Rate (DCR): The slot's average daily unit sell rate within the set date range.
- Price: The slot vend price at the moment it was sold out.
- Cost of Sold Out Units: Calculated estimate of units not sold due to Stock Out.
- (Cost of Sold Out Units = Number of days Sold Out (rounded up) × Daily Consumption Rate.)
- (Cost of Sold Out Units = Number of days Sold Out (rounded up) × Daily Consumption Rate.)
- Cost of Sold Out Currency: Calculated estimate of revenue not captured due to Stock Out.
- (Cost of Sold Out Currency = Estimated lost units x slot price at Sold Out.)
