Purpose

This article serves as a guide for the Machine Stock Out report.

Report Description

The Machine Stock Out report overviews sold outs by machine with estimated missed sales, percentage of sold outs, and more.

Each row is a separate asset.

From your Org's VMS, navigate to Analytics > Vending Financial > Machine Stock Out Report.
Set a date range, select a route, then click the green play button to run the report.

The Table Totals will display to the upper right of the table columns.

Total Sold Out %: The ratio of Past Sold Outs to All Selections among all machines at time of service. Hover over the value to view Total Selections, Past Sold Outs, and Avg. Services.
Total Missed Sales: The total value of product sales missed due to stock out.

Machine: Asset name. Clicking the name opens the asset model.
Location: Location name. Clicking the name opens the Location Details screen.
Route: Route name.
Type: Asset type.
Selections: Number of unique slots in the asset.
Past Sold Outs: Slots that sold out in the past but have not been restocked.
Current Sold Outs: The current number of empty slots in the asset.
Cost of Sold Out Units: Calculated estimate of units not sold due to stock out.
- (Cost of Sold Out Units = number of days sold out × Daily Consumption Rate.)
Cost of Sold Out Currency: Calculated estimate of revenue not captured due to stock out.
- (Cost of Sold Out Currency = estimated lost units × slot price when sold out.)
% of Sold Outs At Service: Average percentage of the asset’s total slots that were sold out when each service began during the set date range.
Services: Number of times the machine was serviced within the set time range.
Fill Date: When the machine was last restocked.
