Purpose

Dex Parsor is a system that scans DEX files from vending machines to detect and extract specific error codes—like coin jams, column jams, or temperature issues—from the MA5 segment.

When valid error codes are found, it sends them to the VMS as alerts.

Supported Models

Dex Parsor only works for supported machine models (Vendo, Royal, Dixie-Narco, and AMS).

Process

Dex Parsor alerts are disabled by default and can be enabled by operators in the VMS alert settings, no support ticket or backend change needed.
