Purpose
This article guides clients on how to pull orders from their provider into LightSpeed and then how to open, select orders, and pick them from FastTrack.
Process
Pulling Orders into LightSpeed
Before you can pull orders into LightSpeed, you’ll need to have them pushed or made available in the provider you are using.
To figure out that process, please contact that service’s Support.
There are two main screens needed to pull orders into LightSpeed, which are the first two options in the tab shown below - Refresh Provider Lists and Get or Refresh Provider Orders.
First, click on Refresh Provider Lists then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Refresh all Lists. Wait for everything to finish and show green.
Next, click on Get or Refresh Provider Orders and perform the following:
- Select the date on the top left.
- Select either All Routes or the specific routes you want to pull.
- Click the Get Orders button.
- Wait until the orders pull through completely.
Using FastTrack to Pick Orders
Prior to opening FastTrack to pick orders, you’ll need to pull orders into LightSpeed by pushing them from the provider you have set up to work with LightSpeed, then pulling them as detailed previously.
From there, you’ll do the following:
- Go to your Desktop and click on the FastTrack Icon. It will look like the icon labeled “1.” shown below.
- Wait for FastTrack to load up, show System Ready… and all the displayed assets below are showing.
- Make sure the program displays All Product Lights OK in green.
- Click the Select tab in the top-left corner.
- Choose the date of the orders desired to pick for.
- Select the order/orders under the Select Route(s) section, then press the arrows to move them into the Selected Route(s) section.
- Click the Start Picking button.
From there, the lights should begin to display the color of the order they’re being picked on, and the display should show the number of items that need to be picked.
Once that number of items have been picked, hit the button and it will clear.
