Purpose

This article contains the additional troubleshooting steps pertaining to the Add-On Ambient Vision cabinet for the Pico Cooler Vision.

Process

The Add-On Ambient Vision Cabinet is an ambient cabinet that is connected to a PicoCooler Vision using a custom bridge cable.

Tools required

  • Philips-head Screwdriver

Pre-Authorization Issues

After pre-authorization, the PicoCooler unlocks but the Add-On ambient cabinet does not.

This indicates a communication issue between the controller on the PicoCooler Vision and the ambient cabinet.

  1. Ensure that the bridge cable is properly connected between the PicoCooler Vision and the ambient cabinet.

Image Issues

One or more cameras in the Add-On Ambient Vision cabinet are not providing images in the transaction videos. 

  1. Ensure that the cameras are connected and the USB cables are securely seated in the PC at the back of the PicoCooler Vision.

  2. Restart the PC by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.

  3. Perform a test transaction and review the video. The cameras may be in different locations, but as long as they are connected, our support team can fix the placement.
