This article outlines the process for installing the MarketSight bespoke camera and housing onto the MM6 Mini.

Process

Please Note

Before inserting the USB into the PC, please contact Support at 888-365-6282 or support@365smartshop.com to guide you through the process.
Please do not attempt to install the USB without contacting Support first.

Attach the new MarketSight Arm, following instruction in this guide.
Once installed, 365 Support will walk through the AI software installation using the new USB drive.
365 Support will run commands remotely (standby for ~15-20 minutes), then run some tests with you to check the functionality of the unit.

  8. To free up spaces on the Silent 11M PC, the following can be performed:

    1. If there are no USB ports available on the Silent 11m PC, then the Temp Sensor Gateway (brown cable) can be unplugged from the PC.

    2. Plug in a USB hub into the open port on the PC and the Temp Sensor gateway cable will plug into the USB hub.

    3. A bill acceptor adapter cable can also be plugged into the USB hub (if there is one attached).

    4. The OTI card reader (green cable) or the Castles card reader USB cable can be moved to the USB hub to free an additional port.

  9. Connect the TPU device to another open USB port on the PC. Do not plug the TPU into the USB hub.

  10. Make sure the webcam is connected into the monitor of the MM6 Mini V5 kiosk (gray wire with a USB-C cable).

  11. Make sure the physical MarketSight arm is screwed into the top of the MM6 Mini V5 kiosk, but do not plug in the MarketSight arm camera yet.

  12. Confirm the MarketSight arm camera has a USB-A cable.

  13. Power on the kiosk (make sure the MarketSight arm camera is not plugged into the USB-A port on the Silent 11-m PC at this time), or if it is powered on, please reboot the device.

  14. Once the MM6 Mini V5 kiosk has booted up to the PoS screen, confirm that the webcam camera feed is visible and the kiosk screen shows a live feed of the Operator and the surrounding area.

If the webcam on the kiosk screen does not show a live feed, please unplug and replug the webcam into the kiosk monitor. If this issue persists, please contact 365 Support.

  15. Once the camera does show a live feed, the MarketSight camera can be plugged into the Silent 11-m PC (this camera has a USB-A cable). Do not plug the MarketSight camera into the USB hub. Plug the MarketSight camera cable into one of the PC's USB ports and bundle extra cable neatly underneath the PC. Remove the cover from the MarketSight camera.

  16. Assembly complete. Call 365 Support for assistance with ADM updates for the MarketSight camera.
