Steps to deactivate or reactivate a Department for the Department Transfer icon

To modify departments in ImpulsePoint, follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Manage" icon located on the left side of the screen.

  2. Under the "Manage Store" section, select the "Add / Edit Department" link.

  3. To find the department you want to modify, you have several options:

    • Use the search bar on the top right side of the screen.
    • Click the word "Filters" on the top left, which will reveal the dropdown arrow for "Status" fields.
    • Alternatively, you can manually scroll down the page to locate the department.
  4. Once you've located the department you wish to modify, click the department name to enter its details.

  5. You can now edit the department's Name and Status as needed.

  6. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking the red "Save" icon.

To deactivate a department:

  1. On the department details page, click the red "Deactivate" button.

  2. A confirmation window will appear, asking if you are sure you want to deactivate. Click "OK" to confirm the deactivation, or "Cancel" if you do not want to save the change.

To reactivate a department:

    1. Navigate to the list of departments.

    2. Locate the department you want to reactivate, which will have a deactivated status.

    3. Click the circular arrow icon that replaces the deactivated status when a department has been deactivated. This will reactivate the department.
