Steps to Add a Department for the Department Transfer icon

These steps should help you effectively manage your departments in ImpulsePoint.

  1. Click the "Manage" icon located on the left side of the screen.
  2. In the "Manage Store" section, select "Add / Edit Department."

  3. Click the prominent red "ADD DEPARTMENT" button to create a new department.

  4. To deactivate a department, use the dropdown arrow to switch the "Status" from "Active" to "Inactive." Don't forget to save your changes!

  5. If you wish to deactivate a department, find the row corresponding to the department you want to deactivate. Click the "X" within the circle under the "Actions" column. A confirmation window will appear; select "OK."

  6. Alternatively, you can reactivate a previously deactivated department by clicking the circular arrow icon, which replaces the "X" icon in the "Actions" column when a department has been deactivated.
