Steps to add a new Vendor to ImpulsePoint so you know where to order more Store Products from!

  1. Click the "Manage" icon, located on the left side of the screen.
  2. Under the "Manage Products" section, select "Add / Edit Vendors."
  3. Click the red "ADD VENDOR" icon.
  4. Using the available text fields, please complete the following required information:
    1. Vendor Name: The name of the vendor.
    2. Website: The vendor's website, if applicable.
  5. Using the remaining available text fields, please complete the following optional information:
    1. Phone: The vendor's contact phone number.
    2. Email: The vendor's contact email.
    3. Sales Representative: The name of your vendor's sales representative.
    4. Ordering Minimum: The minimum quantity or value required for placing an order with this vendor.
  6. Using the dropdown arrow, select the Ordering Method, which can be either:
    1. Manual: For vendors where you manually create and submit orders.
    2. ImpulseBuy: For vendors integrated with ImpulsePoint for automated ordering.
  7. Click the toggle icons to set one or more Ordering Days, indicating the days when you typically place orders with this vendor.
  8. Using the available text field for Comments, please provide any additional necessary information regarding the Vendor.
  9. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking the red "Save" icon!
