How to Manually Post Transactions to your PMS when your ShopPoP self - pay Kiosk does not have PMS Integration
Updated

If your ShopPoP Kiosk is not integrated to your PMS, or the connection between your Kiosk and your PMS is offline due to any reason, you can manually batch the Transactions to your PMS daily

To manually post transactions to your property management system (PMS) using the PMS Missing Sales Report, please adhere to the following steps:

  1. Click the "Analyze" icon located on the left side of the screen.

  2. Navigate to the "Reports" icon.

  3. Under the Sales section, select the "PMS Missing Sales" link.

  4. To download a list of the PMS Missing Sales (for your record-keeping), click the "Export Table" icon on the right side of the screen. To initiate the download, please click the download option at the top right of your screen.

  5. Microsoft Excel will automatically open. In Microsoft Excel, use the AutoSum feature to calculate the total sum of Column "E."

  6. With the total sum amount from Column "E," post this amount to the Posting Account in your property management system. You may need to offset this amount using a "depository payment method" within your PMS system or another suitable payment method that allows you to account for the payment without actually accepting it.

  7. Return to ImpulsePoint, where you should mark all listed Transactions by clicking the "Select All" checkbox icon.

  8. Proceed to click the red "Ignore" icon to confirm the actions.

  9. In the event of a mistake or Ignored Transaction(s) that you haven't yet posted in your PMS, you can review them by clicking the red "View Log" icon to identify any Transactions that may need to be revisited.

It's important to note that we strongly recommend the Night Audit team follow this process daily to maintain accurate information in your PMS.

After the completion of your PMS integration, Impulsify will notify you and confirm the integration's functionality. If you encounter a PMS Missing Sales popup in the future, it could be due to a connection issue, and these instructions can be followed to resolve it.
